From our friends at Stories of Communism - Episode 45 delves into an unusual novel, partly autobiographical, that shows how communism affects the lives of artists, writers, and scholars trapped in a monstrous system (“The Yawning Heights” by Russian dissident, philosopher, and sociologist Alexander Zinoviev)
- Speaking of monstrous systems, don’t miss ‘Two Lives’ with Liv Ullmann - an East German Stasi spy gets caught in the contradictions between her espionage and her family life. It doesn’t end well. And that’s the Achilles’ Heel of socialism: revolutionaries end up regretting being so devoted to the cause when brought face-to-face with socialism’s disregard for individual private lives. Read ‘We the Living’ by Ayn Rand and you’ll see the vulnerability. Even the communist spies reading this must mourn for their own lost private lives.

“Heaven Wants to Destroy the CCP” - Hundreds of Millions Quitting the Chinese Communist Party - |
|
Since the Tuidang Movement started 17 years ago, almost 400 million people have quit the Chinese Communist Party and its youth wings. Courageous volunteers in tourist areas the world over approach Chinese visitors to see if they, too, will quit. Inside China, signs are popping up, “Heaven Wants to Destroy the CCP - Quit for Your Safety”. CCP and government officials are among those quitting.
The Movement was sparked by the publication of the Epoch Times “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party” in 2004 which exposed the true and brutal nature of the CCP. At first, only a handful quit, but now they’re quitting by the tens of millions. The ‘Nine Commentaries’ are well-known in China, with people going around the Great Firewall to read them.
From the video above: “For those who don’t live under communist rule, it is hard to understand the amount of courage needed to publicly state one’s exit from the Communist Party.” In China, good jobs and business opportunities are tied to party membership, so quitting is not done lightly. But the CCP is no match for the desire for individual freedom and a clean conscience.
Folks, this is how change will come. Spread the word.
Let’s start our own ‘influence operation’ and wipe the CCP from the face of the earth.

Tuidang: A Movement That Can Dissolve the CCP From Within
A Retired CCP Worker Quit the Party
- ... the CCP is an evil specter. It has used the most despicable and disgusting means in history to carry out campaigns of suppression. Its dictatorial tyranny has killed countless Chinese people. It has destroyed traditional culture and morality. Everything it propagates is false and evil. It brainwashes the Chinese people at all times and puts the Chinese nation in doom and gloom.
- all of the professors at her university, especially the history and politics professors, were under constant surveillance. Many government departments in China are also under strict surveillance.
- Fanqiang (climbing over the firewall) has been a popular phrase among Chinese people in recent years, especially the youth. The term means bypassing the Great Firewall of China to access overseas information. Google, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter… have all been banned in China. “Fanqiang is fairly easy,” wrote a young man in an online chat to his friends, “I have found lots of ‘little pinkies’ (people who spread pro-Chinese Communist Party remarks) on the Internet, and some do not even know about the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989. I really hope they can learn this technique and take a look at the outside world.”

What a difference 14 years makes. The 2008 Beijing Olympics were China’s debut on the world stage, and China trumpeted its ‘56 Nationalities’ during the Games’ opening ceremonies. The world was hopeful an emerging China would add to global harmony. But now, as the 2022 Olympics are underway, the world sees a very different China, a communist totalitarian China engaging in genocide of the Uighurs, imprisoning Tibet, threatening neighbors, waging debt-trap diplomacy, making products with slave labor, stealing intellectual property, unleashing a million spies upon the world, conducting underhanded influence and elite capture operations everywhere, persecuting religious minorities, and jailing and executing dissenters in a thousand political prisons. The world now understands the true import of China’s ’56 Nationalities’ - China is a racist imperial power bent on world domination, subjugating all peoples under the Han master race. (Ethnically targeted bioweapons, anyone?) It is a threat to humanity at home and abroad. The world is no longer under any illusions about communist China. The CCP does not have the mandate of heaven, and it knows it. Its rule is not just, and brings only disharmony. Accordingly, its days are numbered. Heaven will find another way.
